Ghosts

Calvin and his partner Peter, decided to take the day off for Halloween. One of Peter’s friends sent him an invite to a party and said that he could bring a friend along. Peter asks Calvin if he wants to go, and he says he does. As they enter the house 4 hours later, Calvin clearly sees that this was an impromptu of sorts. He is cautious because it’s weird making a party this big at the last minute. Calvin also has a past with ghosts who usually do this kind of thing. The ghosts think that humans are tractable in the sense that they can be possessed. He had to deal with them about 2 years ago. Anyways, he takes it a bit easier once he comes back to the party. Peter and Calvin are having the time of their lives until someone shrieks out. Calvin, with his lightning fast reflexes, jumps over the table to see whats happening. He sees someone being flogged. 

“What the hell are you doing?” Calvin asks.

“What does it look like we’re doing,” the man replies sarcastically.

Calvin not liking his attitude gives him a punch in the gut and takes his whip away.

“You are ignominious” Calvin says as he walks away.

Peter comes by and tells Calvin that his friend’s parties are always perpetual. 

Calvin continues walking around but ends up ordering a drink at the bar. Laying around while waiting for his order, Calvin spots a transparent milky white person. Calvin decides to let it go for the time being. Calvin asks where is his order, and the bartender comes in with the barrel of beer that Calvin ordered.

“Forty dollars mister,” the bartender says in between puffs of breaths.

Calvin grudgingly gives him a fifty bill and says keep the change. After 47.2 sec, Calvin finished the barrel and goes to investigate what or who the milky white person is. Calvin starts by going where he first saw the ghost, or so he assumes. Knowing ghosts, he looks down, and sure enough, their were drops of ectoplasm on the floor, he follows the trail and accidentally bumps into a few people, but he arrives at the back of the building. There 3 ghosts pop out of nowhere and attack. Calvin doges just in time and murmurs the incantation that sends the dead back where they belong in barely 10 sec. and they disappear in a puff of smoke. Calvin goes back in to avoid suspicion and then decides he should have stayed home.
